Decorating Projects

Pinterest has totally inspired me to use burlap....It is so easy to use and such fun little projects. In this one, I just wrapped a canvas with red burlap then cut out the letters and heart from other burlap colors.  Easy to do...

While I am new at being a full-time mom, my love of decorating is not new. I received my favorite gift from my husband one Christmas - a vinyl cutting machine. I have added so much vinyl to my home and while I was still working I added vinyl to my classroom. Here are photos of some easy projects...

I finally got lettering at the bottom of our wooden stairs....love this!

Sadly we still don't have a 'real' bed with a headboard and baseboard so I created a headboard look with vinyl lettering and shelving....trying to decide what else to add....

So I borrowed Pottery Barn's idea of the clocks but didn't want clocks that gave the times of areas that were not meaningful to me....SO I put up a clock for each place we've lived. So far there are 3 and I love it. When we call friends in Pennsylvania or in Australia we always know what time it is!!
